Hello and welcome to Mobilebytes. Mobilebytes is the name of this blog devoted to Android Application and Android Platform development. While Java is the focus of Android Java application development other technologies are covered that pertain to Android are covered here such as GWT, mobile Linux, and etc.
Fred Grott, author of this blog, has written for IBM DeveloperWorks, JavaDevelopersJournal, contributed to several FOSS projects, and his expertise covers mobile java(both j2me and Android Java), Symbian C, LAMP including web Rails frameworks such as RoR, Django, and cakePHP with also an emphasis on enterprise in areas of JavaEE Groovy, Grails, Hibernate, Spring, IoC, Jboss, Apache Geronimo, GlassFish, and Eclipse.
Currently while developing commercial Android Applications and Android Java Application Training courses and services I contribute to FOSS Android projects and to the main OHA Android Project itself.
