Moto’s Sept Surprise

Posted: September 1, 2009 in Android, Mobile

Yes, it is true that AT&T and Verizon are not showing up for the press conference. It i useless to predict what devices will get picked up by which mobile operators that are targeting a version of Android OS that ha not even been officially added to yet. However here is what we do know. Motorola is targeting  same low cost model segment as HTC so no devices based on snapdragon platform as of yet. Thus it might be a good guess that other than China Mobile’s TD-CDMA that Motorola would wind up asa device at china Unicom as non OPhone OS version.

But that is still a  guess of what mobile  operator might be besides T-Mobile and we as of yet have no factual data to confirm it. Plus, Veriozn and AT&T may later finally approve Android devices we just heard about rejections. Motorola is not the only OEM  with Android devices pitched to both Verizon and AT&T.
