You will notice that now Android 1.5 is target 2 with the Android SDK 1.6r1.  This means tha tyou cannot use target property in default.properties to indicate API level. However, while a headache for build script engineers its does provide the opportunity to a developer to notice the structure of the Moto device add-on and do one fo those HTC devices that you might have down-loaded kernel images for sometime ago, in other words you do not have to wait until HTC creates one for you to download.

  1. Xavier Ducrohet says:

    Actually there’s no problem.
    The content of the target property in default.properties is not related to the target “id” displayed by a ‘android list target’

    For platform the value of target is “android-”
    For add-on it is “::”

    The order, or id value from ‘android list target’ will have no impact.

    Oops some characters got eaten up. Let me retry:

    For platform the value of target is “android-[apilevel]”
    For add-on it is “[vendor]:[add-on name]:[apilevel]”
